I wonder how many people would get hyped if Oda decided to do a One Piece spinoff that revolved around Katakuri. I know I'd read/watch it. Hell, I want it almost as much as a Law or Buggy spinoff.

And its at this point that i can finally call back to when i asked you if you had any particular thoughts or theories when Tank-Man was used in the fight against Cracker. At the time, many people believed Tank Man to just be a joking parody of Bounce Man on Luffy's part because he had become as big as a tank (or several, tbh). The introduction of Snake-Man proves that isn't quite the case, but that Gear 4th is a multi-form power up that allows Luffy to change his body in many different ways. Which brings up the question, will Luffy develop other, more advanced forms? A lot of people also theorize that once Luffy's fruit has it's Awakening, like Katakuri and Doflamingo's had, he'll unlock Gear 5th. I'm not sure that's going to be a thing myself, i think the next form of Gear 4th is going to incorporate it instead, either way it'll be cool as fuck.

So many great details in this episode. I love how advanced observation haki is shown. As a more experienced user, Katakuri’s visions of the future are very clear, and only slightly greyed out. Compare this to Luffy’s, which start out as basic lines similar to old school vector graphics. He can tell when an attack is coming, but only has a vague idea of what it looks like. Cut to later on in the fight, and the lines are filled in with shapes like katakuri’s body being much easier to see. Great way of showing Luffy’s knowledge increasing as he fights.
