Cool place to put 'liner notes' in about this show-
So, we're two shows in on the 'new season'. One of these days I need to sit down and count what 'season' we're actually on (maybe 7? 9?). It looks pretty good. We've got some flare on A CAM. The guys are shiny. Not a fan of the Black Magic Pockets, something we're going to have to deal with when we shoot again in a few weeks.
But, this show is great fun. Runs long but it still works. Great intro. Audio is cleaner than its ever been. This is the second show we shot on the second day of filming, so they are warmed up and you can tell.
We held a vote here on Patreon for which take to use for the intro, and #2 was the clear winner. Had a great time reading everyone's reactions and sharing the process with you.
We also had a good week on Reddit, someone wrote a poem about us- https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/6zvbum/high_magic_settings_in_5e_dungeons_dragons_web_dm/
Reddit has been crucial to the shows growth and its awesome that we manage to make the front of r/dnd most every week. If any of you Patrons are also active or even passive Redditors, hop over and upvote us or comment on the new show- Pruitt posts them every Wednesday.
Also if any of you check out our twitter, Jim's brother Josh Davis is doing an amazing job growing a community over there, using the platform to do group storytelling and epic shit and it's awesome.
Working on how we'll roll out the Audio versions of the Web DM Wednesday shows starting from the beginning in October. Will be a fun way to do 'liner notes' on those shows too. They will be available to the Basic Level Patrons. More on that soon.
Half-Orcs B-side this weekend and more to come...
