Announcement about Future Plans of Web DM

Hello DMNS! Wanted y'all to be the first in the world to hear what's next for Web DM!

As announced earlier in the week, our co-creator and producer Travis is stepping away from an active role in Web DM. We wish him all the best with his future projects and will joyfully share them with you.

This change has been an opportunity for us, the three active partners at Web DM: Jim, Pruitt and Emma, to evaluate how we want to grow Web DM, and we're ready to share these updates with you.

First, we're going back to weekly shows, starting next week! After extensive personal reflection and discussion about what aligns most with our desires, workflow, and the extended realities of the pandemic, format is changing, and will actually result in more content presented in more ways

At long last, we are bringing Web DM to podcast! Web DM Talks will be live on Mondays, with a video version posted to Youtube on Fridays. This podcast will be separate and different in format from the Patreon podcast, and we will be posting an ad-free version to yall, as well as rolling out some tweaks and additions to benefits - we plan to have a survey about that this month to get more feedback about what you'd like and where you'd like to see Patreon grow.

We will still have Web DM Wednesdays on YouTube too! The Wednesday show will be shorter than it has become in recent years, with the intention of being a richly informative resource you can watch on a work break.

Furthermore, we're back on Twitch this week with a pair of new Actual Play Limited Series, both sponsored by Ulisses International.

Web DM Plays The Dark Eye: Adventures in AVENTURIA premieres on Tuesday at 6pm Eastern, featuring Emma, Jim, and other great friends of Web DM

Web DM Plays TORG: Eternity premieres Thursday at 6pm Eastern, featuring Pruitt and other great players.

For those keeping count, that means we're gonna have a release EVERY DAY of the week, not including our exclusive podcast and other content on Patreon. We are still perfecting our workflows, so expect some irregularity as we transition, but know we have consistency as one of our top goals.

More projects coming to fruition soon: our website, improvements to Patreon benefits, more merch options, possible ways to play games with us, a new giveaway, and of course our first book coming to Kickstarter in Q1 2021.
