Slow week in the D&D world, huh? JK! There have been soooo many announcements since we last had a podcast! The fates conspired against us, and we we had to record before D&D Direct, but we chatted about WotC's acquisition of D&D Beyond and a bit about what we expected D&D to announce yesterday.
Kind of glad it worked out this way. Now, next week's pod can be all about what's coming up for D&D because holy shit. It was a big day!
We also got to answer some of your questions! Here they are:
21:47 - Laura: What do you like to use for maps? Do you prefer theater of the mind, draw maps on paper/tiles as you go, use fancy miniature scenery, VTT, ...? What are some pros and cons of different methods you've tried?
32:49 - Kaleb: In a setting that's antithetical to the trope of knights in shining armor taking a valiant oath to a benevolent god (Dark Sun), how would you go about implementing a "non-traditional" paladin?
41:10 - Kageo: as a fellow History student, how do you handle implementing historiography and sources in your campaigns? And what do you consider when doing so?
46:12 - Rockinroller97: How would you do subtle, gradual style Chaos corruption/temptation among the PCs?
