Damon literally tried to turn Jeremy the episode before and Elena still saved him here because she is trying to understand him and the reason behind what he did and she realised even though what he did was absolutely wrong but it wasn’t coming from a malicious place or even anger, it was coming from a tortured soul with a deep bleeding heart who’s been hurt time and time again so if we want Damon to change and become a better person punishing him for the things he hasn’t done and hurting him even more is not gonna help the situation and it’s gonna push him even more to despair so Elena stoped Bonnie. I love Bonnie but I can admit when she’s in the wrong, this time it was more Bonnie’s fault because the only reason Caroline was at the hospital in the first place was because she lied about the Gilbert device if she hadn’t wanted to do it, she should’ve just been straight with Elena and surely they would’ve thought about something else so now she’s facing the consequences of her action and she doesn’t want to accept it. It’s easier to blame it on someone who everyone see as a bad guy and making that person take responsibility for everything than holding yourself accountable for the mistakes you’ve made. It made her feel better but Elena was compassionate and smart enough to realise it wasn’t Damon’s fault it was actually Katherine’s and saved Damon from Bonnie and saved Bonnie from herself.

Katherine is the best at it. How do you think she knew Caroline had Damon’s blood in her system? Nobody talked to her about it, she watched & listened for a while. She also knew where Damon was for 145 years and avoided him.

Stefan couldn’t try to actually win, he had to fake lose. Just to show his normalcy. But with what little effort he put in, he felt some strength coming back at him. Vikki couldn’t handle being a vampire because she was a druggie. She was addicted to drugs then she got addicted to blood. She couldn’t control it. Bonnie, such a judgmental bitch. She wants to blame someone for that guy dying? For Caroline turning? For her almost dying? She should blame herself. She didn’t deactivate the device. She caused the car crash. Worst character.

Won't say much but i've enjoyed a couple of their scenes, especially in the later seasons

She maintained control of her thirst and didn't kill the nurse after feeding and she compelled her to forget. With the exception of killing the guy at the carnival, and that's only because she's a freshly turned vampire and already showed restraint with Matt, I also think she's gonna be a good vampire.
