How To Approach Different Environment Plains

Phew! Definitely the biggest and juiciest tutorial I have created to date. I hadn't posted anything here because this tutorial took up just THAT much time! But we made it - it's completed and here at last! Throughout this video, I'll show you how I created 4 different artworks and you'll get to see it all take form from blank canvas to the final.

At the start of the video, I'll go through some introduction on what this whole tutorial will cover so you'll know what to expect. This is around two and a half hours long so buckle up and grab your drinks if you plan to do it all in one sitting!

Like all my recent voiced tutorials, I have not added music here so feel free to listen to me talk while you play your own music :) Captions can also be turned on at the bottom right corner of the video player. Enjoy!

This post contains the 2 hour 33 minute tutorial video, the open-layered Photoshop files, 4K artwork files, the sketches & my full Photoshop brush set.

See attached for all the files - the video is embedded on this post.

Hi! It should be a stamp brush with lots of vertical streaks in the image! Just stamp it once and distorted and pulled it to create the effect :)

Philip Sue

Pretty sure it's the Hard Chalk brush. It tends to be Philip's favorite and go-to brush.

Thanks for all the hard work on this! I’m working on the water plain now and then I’ll get started on the rest of them! I can’t find that brush you used for the water ripples though, any idea what it’s called?
