Idea Submission for Monthly Exclusive Lesson (March 2023)

It's time for you to submit ideas on what you'd like see for this months exclusive lesson! Drop your ideas in the comments below!

On the 10th of this month, I will gather all the ideas together and shortlist the ones that I think can be beneficial for everyone, or simplify it so the idea can be more of a general lesson - then I'll put up a poll for you to vote on.

Try to think about some techniques you'd like to learn, new methods etc. But all is up to whatever you would like! If you don't have a specific idea to share, feel free to like other people's comments that you would like to see!

Have you ever considered doing landscapes with vehicles (thinking Mechs or spaceships in the landscapes) or vehicles in general? Maybe non organic things other than buildings? I love everything you do so thank you for anything!

What about in space with a planet? / Asteriods

How about different perceptions of a house or cabin?

I would LOVE to see the Ancient city of Kyoto! Different angles of the various landmarks, bridges, temples, etc.

How to draw sea/ocean/beach? I was struggling a bit while creating something similar, and I wasn't aware of how it should look. I was somewhat satisfied with the result, but I know I could have done a much better job, as always. :D You might have made a tutorial about this, and I haven't noticed it yet. But if there isn't, I would be glad to see your thought process about it. :)

A day/night tutorial (shading, colors to use, play with the light). Or even some tips for a scenery view during the four seasons ...

Will be a great idea to explore! Haha will need to add disclaimer at the start of the video to say *results are strictly experience based*

Yes, I understand that it would take longer than an hour to complete for a beginner but I was looking for a technique that after at least enough practice I can be able to do it in under an hour and for it to have more than clouds, such as mountains, trees etc too. Thanks!

Mirsab

Cool idea! Just keep in mind that based on experience levels - my artwork done in under 60min won't necessary be the same for others, especially if they are beginners. This could potentially create a false sense of hope and expectation for those who are still in the stages of learning. In saying that, my recent tutorial creating clouds is a good example of an artwork done in under an hour and compromising on smaller details!

Philip Sue

Can you teach us how to make a good looking landscape painting style that takes less than 60 mins to paint but still looks good by compromising on certain details in favour of saving time?

Mirsab
