Greenland - Step By Step Tutorial

We're working with a pretty limited range here when we take a look at the finished piece here. But there is actually so much we can do if we adjust the tones a little and seperate things into the background, mid ground and foreground.
At the end, you will notice that the video doesn't include the 'detailing' of the castle and the addition of the horse. I didn't actually have it recorded but it was mainly just part of the 'finishing' stage anyways. You will see all the main important parts of building this piece regardless in this video so it's all good.

Those tiny little trees out in the far vertical mountains? Those can be found in the nature brush pack by Devin Elle Kurtz :) They're also just stamps you can get from sampling off photos quite easily. The rest of the grass and hills etc are just hand-painted in manually using the hard chalk brush, no special tricks used.
