Creating a Scene With Structures

The long awaited step-by-step tutorial on how to create a scene with structures is finally here!

This tutorial sits over 2 hours long but as it should be, because creating structures is a little more technical compared to a natural scene. As usual, you'll see me take you through the entire process from blank canvas to the finished artwork.

Captions can also be turned on at the bottom right corner of the video player.

This post contains:

- The exclusive step-by-step tutorial video
- Layered Photoshop file
- Photoshop brush set
- Range of artwork wallpapers
- Process guide sheet

See attached for all the files - the video is embedded on this post.

Download link to this video will be sent through to you via Patreon Messages in the new month. The download link will be active for a month so keep an eye out for when the message comes through.

This was very entertaining especially when he talked about the inescapable focal point haha you cannot escape it so look at it.

What brushes did you use for the grass blades? I've been working on recreating these just based off the pictures to try and improve my workflow skills, and I can't tell if you just manually brushed each or if you used a different brush for them :) (example: bottom right corner of grass showing just over the water)

I'll have to rewatch it again to see which parts particularly made me lol, but there were some nice encouraging things you said, too - especially your story about your hardworking immigrant parents and that only through hard work and determination can we increase our skills. My mum's family is also an immigrant family (to Aus, not NZ though, unfortunately...) and they too worked extremely hard to make it in Aus. We kids were definitely raised to understand how important working hard to reach one's goals is. Thanks for all of your hard work in making these tutorials and organising all the files! I'm in love with your style and have always wanted to learn how to do more fantasy-style landscapes! <3
