Idea Submission for Monthly Lesson (September 2023)

Hi all! It's time for you to submit ideas on what you'd like see for this months exclusive lesson! Drop your ideas in the comments below!

On the 12th of this month, I will gather all the ideas together and shortlist the ones that I think can be beneficial for everyone, or simplify it so the idea can be more of a general lesson - then I'll put up a poll for you to vote on.

Try to think about some techniques you'd like to learn, new methods etc. But all is up to whatever you would like! If you don't have a specific idea to share, feel free to like other people's comments that you would like to see!

I would also love to see how you would approach creating a parallax landscape project.

Cameron Pickle

How to make minimalist landscape art, such that we could tweak it a little bit, a few things here & a few things there and it would result in a different art piece.

I think it would be awesome to see how you go about your brush creation process. Do specific needs drive your creation of brushes or what is your decision process on when you need a new brush vs work with ones you already have. How do you know when one of your brushes are "done" or are you always tweaking them? Are there certain settings you like to use the most when making a brush or ones that you find give cool effects?

Cameron Pickle

A Japanese koi garden! (Shrines, bridges, and lighting on still water)

Cady Speelman

I would love to see something about incorporating lights into a scene. (Torches, streetlight, citylights, campfires, etc.)
