2023-11-01 16:30:53 +0000 UTCso most of the viewers are likely pissed with the dad and the ridiculous beating of his own GROWN UP SON. but the fact is that in taiwan and some asian nations 'filial piety' is taken to huge proportions that the grown-ass kids will take that abuse and assault (yes call it for what it is) and try ways and means to mediate still. I guess in that aspect the mentality of 'screw you guys im over it, i dont need this, i dont deserve this ' might be a better choice, but it comes quite a lot later after many many failed attempts. not saying that asian value of respecting elders isnt good or important but i guess we have to view it proportionately as well. i hope the script/plot does a good job of unravelling this issue, giving us a satisfying ending. No need for super miraculous sudden perspective change of the dad etc, but mature, wise ways of dealing with this as two persons facing it together as one. also where my RJ plotline and Big A plotline at??!! come on at this rate they're going to get 45 seconds each cos we need time to deal with main couple problems. source: am asian

2022-12-17 22:24:52 +0000 UTCIโm sad itโs been two episodes without Alex and RJ actually speaking. But Iโm happy that weโre seeing Alex realise he likes him. And I also liked this episode in general although because it was only the main couple I did get kind of bored in parts. But itโs such a good story so I had to keep watching. Iโm happy they said what was going on with him though at the end because he was getting annoying when he wasnโt responding. Main couple messiness this episode but understandably so.
