A Serious Critique of Shadow the Hedgehog
Added 2024-12-17 19:54:33 +0000 UTCHey gamers! I took a little look back at Shadow the Hedgehog from 2005 in celebration of Sonic 3 coming out soon. This was a really fun little project to work on and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I think there's a lot of merit to this game despite ultimately being a bit of a complete mess.
Companion video on Shadow Generations will drop when this one drops on YouTube (hopefully by December 21st). I also have another smaller Christmas video planned as an exclusive hopefully soon, just haven't been able to run to the shop to get what I need because our car battery has died, once it's sorted, I'll get right on that!

But itโs nice to see someone attempting to highlight the good as well. You made a well balanced video here. A very fun watch for a sonic fan like myself. I played this as a kid and then revisited it as an adult a few years ago and realised howโฆ strange it was. Itโs kinda broken and weird but also sort of a good idea? Maybe it came at the wrong time, I dunno. Thanks for bringing this to us and taking part in The Year of Shadow. Good work.
