new nooki sprites

about the nooki game I've posted before. we are trying to think of make it more simple and fun to play. one of idea we are trying is make it with vampire survivor style. we didn't made much progress yet but I can show you guys the sprite of main character!
one of the lesson I've learned from Tribal hunter was try not to make character animation too complex. it looks nice of course, but it takes too much time so it can't have much customize or additional characters. I'm thinking of make this time with simple animation, so I can make various playable characters easier. and maybe custom character mod too?
DD flight minigame is also working on. we've made various enemies and fun defeat animation for each of them.

Maybe you can post up ads looking for additional animators? Better than just merely “looking” for them. And not just animators, animators who are both skilled and are interested in growth and expansion.

2024-12-31 11:47:27 +0000 UTCit's true. more animation would be better of course, but that means lots of spritework too. if I can hire someone to help it, that should be helpful but I've already tried it in small part in Tribal hunter and it wasn't that good. so I'm not sure about it yet.

2024-12-12 03:46:11 +0000 UTCIMO, while complex character animation can really be a burden to animate and program, it can be very rewarding for the players. It’s all a matter of how you want to invest your time and money into the project. These days, it’s a good strategy as a small developer to keep it simple for now, but add more to it via future content updates. Just focus on creating and ensuring the base gameplay is fun and rewarding. Again, this is just my opinion.
