Later this afternoon, I'll be releasing a video on my channel regarding Luke Skywalker returning to Star Wars. It seems that Filoni is trying to save his job and they're going to shoot the moon with a ton of Luke over the next 5 years. Ahsoka has them spooked and Kennedy's vision is in tatters. But it's not all what it might seem. According to my source, Luke will be brought back but many of his exploits in the legends material will now be handed off to Ahsoka or other female characters.
But Luke is coming to battle against witches. And there may be an attempt to even have him star in a new trilogy post Kathleen Kennedy. It might be square in the territory of rumor at the moment but I'm hearing that folks above Lucasfilm have called it on trying to drive Star Wars any further with the KK strategy. They're ready to pull the financial cord.

It is too late. I am so over Star Wars I can't even get excited for this. Filoni is creatively bankrupt and will give his pet Ahsoka all of Luke's stories from the EU. It still ends up with Luke as a failure in the sequel trilogy while Ahsoka, Sabine and others take all his glory.

Otherwise, everyone will just point to Luke's fate, and consider what may have been. Is this a step in the right direction? Yes. Is this admittance that the last decade has been a disaster? It's close. Is this just a bait and switch now that jobs are on the line? Sounds like it. #JusticeForGina
