I started One Piece a few years back and binged for months straight to make it to the 1000s and caught up. When I caught up, I'll admit it was hard trying to watch it weekly. Not that it's boring, or I lost interest. I simply enjoying binging. So now I'm waiting until you get there because I'm enjoying watching this way. As far as Dressrosa goes and this not being my first time watching, I can see where some might say it drags, but that can be said for any arc. I thought Thriller Bark dragged on. The best part was Brook lol but when I watched Dressrosa the first time, it was capitvating and the backstories of the characters in the arc are fascinating! Some of my faves. Sorry for the long comment ðŦĒ

2024-04-13 05:59:53 +0000 UTCI started watching One Piece back when fishman Island arc was airing, which I binged and caught up to, and since then I've been watching week by week. I think that the tension built up is great, it makes the payoff so much better. I also didn't start reading the manga until a couple years ago. Watching week by week with the tension build up didn't bother me when I hadn't read the manga, but now that I'm caught up and know what's going to happen, watching week by week is a little annoying with the tension build up but it still doesn't bother me as much as it bothers other people. I do agree that it's better to binge than watching week by week though
