A number of you have reached out asking if Iβd ever revisit Chuck β and after enough pings, I gave in π So here it is: a reimagining of Chuck, starting from the moment he becomes the first Intersect.
But before we dive inβ¦
β οΈ A Quick Note on Updates
This story is something Iβm excited to explore, but it wonβt follow my usual update pace. I want to set clear expectations:
π One or two chapters a month, depending on my schedule. No weekly updates for this one.
Thatβs because Iβm currently balancing multiple active stories, and each chapter takes real time and effort to produce:
π οΈ What Goes Into a Chapter (for any story):
βοΈ Outlining: Building the core scenes, pacing, beats, and any divergence moments
𧱠First Draft: Writing it through with flow, voice, and internal consistency
π§ Edit Pass #1: Cleaning up structure, strengthening character moments, fixing timeline logic
πͺ Final Edit: Style, polish, dialogue touch-ups, continuity with prior chapters
Right now, Iβm doing this 10 times a week across my current projects. Thankfully, I have a backlog that helps keep the momentum going β but adding Chuck to the mix means I need to pace it realistically.
β¨ Why Iβm Sharing It Anyway
Enough of you asked. And honestly? I miss Chuck. I think thereβs a lot of fun to be had in rewriting the Intersect origin with a more grounded or high-stakes arc. So while updates will be slow, I hope the story is worth the wait.
