Kakyoin had like none of his true personality (besides being kind of refined), while Pol was able to resist even going for the backstab which the flesh bud would undoubtably be influencing him to do.

Crunchyroll and other sites edit the names for copyright (brand names and music artists/songs are used constantly in this series) which is why he's called Advol in those versions. As long as you watch the uncensored blueray version you'll have the real names usually.
