Sunbeams and Gratitude ๐ซ
Added 2020-11-12 03:03:00 +0000 UTCToday Iโm grateful for this space to write about the good the bad and the ugly. Iโm also grateful for the space to spend time with powerful women, even in these hard times. Socially distant visits saved me today!
I had a porch-pow-wow with my boss, one of the most inspiring and bright women I know. We sat in the sunshine and I soaked up her wisdom and grace. I left feeling invigorated and full of new directions to explore.
Then I was invited to join a sacred back-patio vent sesh that Sabina and Mars hold weekly. There were blankets and hot tea and a cheese plate and we sat across the table sharing stories of waking up from relationships that didnโt serve us and standing up for our own best interests (for a change!) Iโm so proud of each of us for demanding better, and stepping into our better futures, our more vibrant selves. I canโt think of two more talented, creative, empathetic creatures. It was a balm to just see their smiles and hear their laughs. Iโm home again with a smile on my face feeling lots lighter. And Iโm feeling thankful.
Be well out there, hereโs me last summer with forest fairy vibes in the woods. ๐ฑ๐ซ Iโm glad we soaked up some of the last warm days. ๐โ๏ธ Hoping the end of your week is sunny too.
