I've been a fan of Suspiria since 1999 and yet I've never watched it in anything but English. ๐คฃ There were definitely some things expanded on in the subs. The sequel, Inferno, is an esoteric masterpiece and possibly my favorite Argento. I would say either it or Tenebre on any given day. Both are much more worth watching than the remake. Oh, and I liked the lighting!

2025-04-30 08:17:20 +0000 UTCI would absolutely recommend the Suspiria remake. I love them both! As far as other more vibey horror recs: the sequel Inferno is an obvious one. I didn't know before today if I should suggest The Beyond, but since you loved Fulci's Zombie, it's a no-brainer. An earlier one would be Carnival of Souls, and as far as witches go, The Witch is something I'd put on top of the list.
