I landed on the table with incredible ease. Bridget was right about this! I wondered how high I could jump comfortably. This was a piece of cake.
I heard Bridget still giggle behind me upon my last words. I was glad she didn't see me like the scared little thing I was.
"Ta-da!" I said as I got to the table, turning my head to check on Bridget's reaction.
