I pulled the chain again to turn the light back on. I realized this would be my new home, but I didn't feel like it yet. Keeping everything in its original state felt like the right thing to do.
I wondered if I was strong enough to move the entire lamp. I grabbed the pipe with both hands and tried to shake it carefully, but nothing happened. I tried harder with no luck until I found myself rocking the lamp with all my strength, but it wouldn't move a bit.
"Not so strong after all." I stated to myself.
