I've just uploaded the next chapter of Visiting Tanya to my Gumroad store. This is my first comic that broke 1000 renders, that's insane! The story is now almost complete, I am expecting two more chapters to complete it.
I usually prefer bigger tinies, but I have enjoyed working at this scale a lot. It just opens up a whole new perspectives! Also it's very demanding when it comes to details in close-ups, I've tried my best to make it as realistic as possible, but I am still far from being satisfied with the results:)
When I begun working on close-up at the smallest scale, I found her skin too unrealistic, so I tried to add some wrinkles to her skin. Especially on her feet, knees, hands, and places where you'd expect to see such a detail. I have definitely spent a lot more time on this comic than I usually do, I've also added a lot of characters starting in chapter 9. From that point, each chapter takes me about three times longer to complete than I am used to. But it's definitely worth it for the sake of the story:)
