I felt petrified once again, unable to react to Lucy's questions. I opened my mouth, and all that came out was a groan.
Her squeeze was uncomfortable, but I didn't want her to let go. Her overwhelming strength was both intimidating and comforting. I realized it was trust; I trusted her to protect me when I could no longer do that myself.
"God, your arm is so tiny, even compared to my finger. I can feel your blood pulsing as I hold it. It's just unreal." Lucy said as I stared at my hand in shock, trapped between her gigantic fingers.
"I can only imagine how this must feel for you. Your heart is racing crazy fast." Lucy almost whispered now.
"Don't worry, little one. You're safe with us now. We don't let anything bad happen to you." She comforted me.
