Lucy didn't respond to my request. Instead, her eyes shifted from me to Bridget. Nobody said a word, but I could see from Lucy's expression an ongoing non-verbal debate between the girls.
She was considering leaving me to Bridget, and I couldn't have that. My throat closed with fear again, but I managed to say one word, although very quietly.
"Please!" I let out with utmost urgency, desperately looking at Lucy, awaiting her decision.
(P.S. Sorry for the delay in posting this story, guys. I couldn't find the time to continue the writing part. I'll try to focus on that now, so I can keep updating Exposed regularly.)
