Bridget couldn't hear me. I was so pathetic that she couldn't hear me anymore after taking just a few steps. Or perhaps she was doing it on purpose to punish me for my stupid behavior.
"PLEASE! COME BACK! DON'T LEAVE ME HERE!" I ran to the edge of my concrete prison to get as close to Bridget as possible and continued shouting.
