Since they made Mustang do the human transmutation, he gets to perform alchemy without a circle now, just like the other sacrifices

2025-07-04 16:24:06 +0000 UTCOne of the very few times I strongly prefer the dub... the subs show it as "Beat him" when Al transmutes Ed's arm, but in the Dub he says "Keep Moving" it's a subtle difference but in my mind translates way better as Al is more referring to their philosophy and life in general as opposed to this single moment. Anyways still one of the greatest anime moments of all time.

Its not just a typical entertaining anime, like everything has a deeper meaning, the characters desires, the homunculi representing the various desires, how they behave, how certain characters with their weaknesses of these desires overcome those or are confronted with those. How truth/god in itself is depicted.... all of this is like really deep stuff. And on top of that is just great characterdesign and also a great story. And both anime versions are great and watchable.
